The Christmas Poem

Yuletide, sleigh rides, and angels in the snow, the evidence that winter's here with Christmas too in tow. Ribbons, wrappings, wreaths, and nipping cold; stands seem to erect themselves with cocoa to be sold.
Reasons for the Season, and cards with Christmas greetings; nativities arranged, displayed, and left for all to see them. Television specials, trees aglow with presents nestled; nutcrackers standing idly by, as trains go round their tressel. This joy and jubilation, this festive celebration, is here in short summation, from one sweet proclamation." For unto us is born this day, in David's city, a swaddled  babe. Emmanuel shall be his name", three wise men came as angels praised, shepherds bowed and Mary gazed, and from that came our Christmas Day.

A beautiful summary of the most precious gift to be granted and bestowed upon an undeserving human nation!
